Bart Hassam is a world renowned Floral Designer, Demonstrator and Lecturer who regularly travels throughout the world teaching and sharing his passion for his particular style of floral engineering.

Bart has a background in commercial floristry, floral art, sogetsu ikebana and european design and spent several years of his formative training working and studying in Japan. The aesthetic influence this has had on his design style can not be understated.

He is the co-owner of Maison Fleur Floral Design - a boutique floral design studio in the heart of Brisbane City. He has been awarded Interflora Australian Florist of the Year 5 times as well as being an Asia Cup champion.

Bart is regularly commissioned to produce large-scale floral installations for flower shows, exhibitions and  individual pieces of floral design for publications. He is also commissioned to produce pieces of nature based sculpture for private homes and interior design companies. Bart has a particular love for teaching the finer points of high-end floral design and is adept at conducting group educational workshops as well as one-on-one training.

Bart's international design schedule is generally booked 6 to 12 months in advance so an early enquiry is advised and appreciated. All enquiries will be responded to with availability in regards to schedule and a quotation of fees involved.
